For this week's post, we'll be mod-ding another Yun outfit, Dark Path. As you may have guessed from the name, this outfit has something to do with the Dark Realm. It was first made available after the launch of the "Wings of the Raven" patch and can be bought from the NPC vendor at Shrine of Ascendants (after the player unlocks the achievement for defeating the Skybreak Spire raid dungeon's final boss, Raven King, at least ten times). It also has a small chance to drop off the Raven King.
So how does it relates to the Dark Realm? Well, the SkyBreak Spire is where Lusung traveled to after being 'offered' to the Raven King, as his mortal host, by Jinsoyun (you can watch the video to see his sacrifice by Jinsoyun here). Lusung reaches the SkyBreak Spire and accepted the power of the Raven King, thus turning into a full Raven-like demon (you can view Lusung becoming the Raven King here).
As the requirement for the raid was 24 players 😥 and has a high difficulty setting, the outfit isn't easily available before the few newer patches. With the new patches, the raid dungeon's difficulty is reduced and requirement decreased to 12 players, while players get a boost in their stats. And thus, the outfit is more common now as long as players have access to a raid alliance. However, the raid dungeon is still not a walk in the park for most alliances, especially with how Raven King loves to give out "Pizzas" 😱 (raiders will know what that means 😁).
Since the outfit has a relation to the Raven King, it is basically full black in design and littered with feathery decorations (you can only image where those feathers on the outfit came from 😅). The torso is covered in a layer of black netting, with a metallic bra and dress made of feathers over it. A half-width cape drapes from the left shoulder and the collar has a similar design to Dark Jinsoyun's outfit.
Let's check out the original outfit below.

On top, we can see the full black outfit with a long dress of feathery structures.

Just for information, fully removing the netting, dress and feathery decorations will cause the mod outfit to look like some kind of adult role playing costumes, with only the bra, panty and straps. 😱 If the bra, panty and straps are further removed, this outfit can be mod into a full nude leaving only the gloves and shoes because the whole mesh for skin layer is fully intact. 😈
For my mod, I just wanted a shorter dress and to remove excessive netting. See below for the final mod.

From the front view, we can see that the dress is now a skirt.

And the netting at the sides have been trimmed.

Now we can have a full view of those leggy legs. 😍

Naughty me also removed a small portion of the metallic bra, leaving the netting below the removed portion. 😆
Well, that's all for the mod. Did I manage to make the mod version sexier but still retaining the original theme? 😅
After finishing up the mod for Yun's Wonderland outfit, I was looking for a suitable piece of music to make a video for it and it hits me that there is actually a nice piece of music that I had used before for the Yun's Wolfskin outfit. And coincidently, this music is titled "Wonderland" by Mitte, who has also made some very nice music that I like a lot, such as "Listen" and "Ending of Love Story". 😃
So I decided to make the video using that same music and then I think, why not double down with another Wonderland outfit? I was initially thinking of mod-ding the Jin Wonderland to go with it but the constraints on the Jin Wonderland outfit is really tight, so I turned to Gon's Wonderland instead.
From the previous Yun Wonderland post, you probably know all the details about the outfit's origin and that the Gon's version looks exactly the same as the Yun's. In normal case, I will probably do the same mod for the two races but in this case, the mesh structure (3D model) is vastly different and the Gon's version gives a greater freedom for mod. As such, I decided to mod the Gon's version different from the Yun's.
In the last post, you have seen how the Red Queen blouse gets turned into a Red Queen lingerie and in this mod, you will see it turn into a sexy apron. 😝 But first, let's take a look at the original outfit.
Since we are still fresh from the last Yun Wonderland post, I will just put four views as a refresher.

As mentioned earlier, I will mod the blouse into an apron. However, this is not a new idea as I have taken it from a previous mod for the Stormbringer Regalia in AION. Let's view the mod version below as I explain the mod.

In the two images above, you will probably be thinking "What's the difference from the original version" because there seems to be no changes other than modifying the arm guards and stockings. 😥
But as the saying goes, the good part is always at the back. Don't belief? See below! 😛

Do you agree with the saying now?
The Red Queen wears only her panty and some accessories with her apron... 😍
The Gon's version's mesh allows me to totally remove the cloth at back leaving only a string that holds the apron. This can't be done on the Yun's version as the mesh below the cloth is actually missing.
Side View - Modified Outfit
Oh, I also trimmed the cloth around the bra area to make it look more like an apron. This can't be done on the Yun version either.

Some may ask whether it is possible to reveal the tummy like the Yun's mod.
It is possible to 'open' a hole in the tummy area like in the case of the Yun's but then it wouldn't be an apron anymore, isn't it? 😥
Having seen the two Wonderland mods, which you do you prefer? The lingerie or the apron? 😃
Is the apron teasing enough for you? Catch the Wonderland video below.
In the last four posts, I have discussed three Gon outfits and one Jin outfit so in this post, I'll be touching on a Yun outfit, which is from an in-game event. The Wonderland outfit, as the name implies, has its design concept taken from the popular, and maybe overused 😅, fantasy story of "Alice in Wonderland".
The outfits for the races are split into two categories of "Red Queen" and "Alice", where the Yun and Gon gets the Red Queen design, while the Jin and Lyn gets the Alice design. Take a look at the image below for a better feel.
Gon Wonderland Yun Wonderland
The Gon and Yun Wonderland outfits look exactly the same. 😆
Jin Wonderland Lyn Wonderland
Jin and Lyn both get the Alice design but they don't look the same unlike the Gon's and Yun's. 😆
Well, incase you are curious about what the male characters get... They all get the Madhatter design. 😂
Some may dispute about why I said the Gon's and Yun's outfits have their designs taken from Red Queen concept because the outfits are mostly black. 😥
But the Red Queen's full name is actually Queen of Heart and the color associated with the Queen of Heart, in a pack of cards, is always red; and thus, Red Queen. Though the outfits are mostly black, they are also laced with red linings and designs of hearts. The biggest giveaway is probably the hat accessory that comes with the outfits, which looks like a small crown. Hope that explains why I said they are of the Red Queen design. 😥
Now that we have that out of the way, let's take a closer look at the original Yun Wonderland.
Front View - Original Outfit
The basic design is a black dove-neck blouse laced with red linings, coupled with a pair of black arm guards and white stockings.

Rear View - Original Outfit
Is the red frame collar befitting of a queen?
Rear Close-up View - Original Outfit
The high collar seems like a concept from those very bulky vintage dress, worn by women with status, in some movies.

Side Close-up View - Original Outfit
For the mod, I preserved the Red Queen concept but transformed the blouse into some kind of lingerie. Red Queen's lingerie? 😅 Let's look at the images below while I explain what I mod.
Front View - Modified Outfit
First of all, I shortened the two pieces of cloth at the front and rear to reveal part of the black panty.
The arm guards and stockings are both mod into arm bands and thigh bands by recoloring the middle portion into skin color.
Front Close-up View - Modified Outfit
I also 'opened' a hole in the tummy area.
Although I wanted very much to stretch it to the back, it can't be done without exposing a huge discontinuity. That's because the edge of the blouse is 'floating' over the back skin layer. Thus, if I had painted the side and back of the blouse to skin, we will be looking at skin 'floating' above another layer of skin. 😱
Rear View - Modified Outfit
The cloth at the rear is also shortened but it still fully covers the panty.
Rear Close-up View - Modified Outfit
I moved the heart shape design so it sits right on the butt. 😅

Side Close-up View - Modified Outfit
So, what do you think of the Red Queen's lingerie? 😝
I will put up the video for this outfit later as I am trying to sort through some Jinsoyun's video to close the gap between the rebirth of Jinsoyun and her abduction by Zulia.
For the second post of the new year, I shall mod a Jin outfit call the Transcendence. Those who play Blade & Soul, from the very beginning, will probably know that this is a rare outfit from the Master Founder's pack, sold to players who supported the game right from its launch in NA. It was also placed on limited time sale, on the online Hongmoon store, some time in 2017.
The outfit is mostly white with red linings and decorations. Since it is a sold outfit, the Transcendence is designed to give each race its worth. Other than the red shoulder guards, arm guard and pendant hanging at the waist, the outfit looks different, on the whole, for each race; while maintaining the basic design, that players can easily recognize that they are from the same family.
But as usual, Gon received the most love and is given the hottest design. Check out the comparison below and you will see what I mean. 😅
Jin Gon Yun
The Gon race gets the most 'open' two piece design while Yun gets to be the most conservative. 😅
Both Jin and Yun sports a pair of silky white stockings while Gon only has a thigh band on the left thigh.
Jin Gon Yun
As seen in the above image, both Jin and Yun outfits shared the same rear design for the top half of the dress, but Yun's has an extension to the bottom of the dress.
Jin Gon Yun
The side for all three outfits look almost identical except for the stockings and length of the dress.
The three outfits incredibly demonstrates each race's characteristic. With the mini-skirt matching the cheeky nature of Jin, long robe showing the elegance of the Yun and 'openness' displaying the Gon's energetic characteristic.
Although the three outfits give a different feel for the race, if we look closely at the Jin and Yun outfits, we can say that the Yun outfit is basically the Jin outfit with an extended dress? 😆
But of course, the mesh and texture can't just be simply duplicated as I have mentioned before.
The reason why I choose to mod my Jin Transcendence is because being a Jin, I'm jealous of the Gon's 'openness' and so I decided to mod the Jin outfit similar to that of the Gon's version. 😆
So, let's get started by taking a closer look at the original Jin outfit below.

Left Side View - Original Outfit
As mentioned earlier, my intention for this mod is to make the Jin outfit similar to that of the Gon. So I started off by opening a hole in the tummy area, by repainting the white silky cloth to skin layer, and then stretching it all the way to the back. In addition, I shortened the mini-skirt a little and mod both the stockings and arm guards to give them some translucent feel.
Let's check out the mod outfit below, shall we?
Front View - Modified Outfit
In the top image, we can see the tummy area is now skin and the stockings are translucent.
Front Close-up View - Modified Outfit
The arm guards appear to look like skin when not under direct light.
Rear View - Modified Outfit
A shortened skirt... 😅
Rear Close-up View - Modified Outfit
Left Side Close-up View - Modified Outfit
In the left side image, we can see how the skin at the tummy area wraps round to the back.
Right Side View - Modified Outfit
The skin at tummy area is not extended to the right side because the region where the front and rear meshes meet is stretched differently so anything drawn across this region will become distorted. As such, it is better to just leave it as it is, in simple plain color. 😦
So, the final mod has a similar exposed tummy like the Gon version but the stockings remain and the skirt gets shortened instead of lengthened like the rear side of Gon's. 😅
