Blade & Soul - Enchanting Temptress (Yun Outfit) Mod

It has been like two months since I posted the Gon Seductress and its sister outfits; and finally a viewer requested for the Yun version. Soon after, another viewer requested for the Jin and Gon Enchanting Temptress. If you have followed my blog so far, you will probably know that I have done mod on the Seductress, Temptress and Enchanting Seductress. The only sister outfit that I left out is the Enchanting Temptress (excluding the Pure Seductress). With these requests, I guess I will just take the opportunity to complete the Enchanting Temptress for Jin and Gon, plus all four outfits for Yun. However, this post will only focus on the Yun Enchanting Temptress since they look quite similar. I have also included the Gon and Jin Enchanting Temptress in the video at the end of this post.

To be honest, I had already done the Yun Enchanting Temptress a long time back, even before I started on the Gon version. I chose the Enchanting Temptress at that time because I had already mod the Jin Enchanting Seductress and I wanted to see how it looks on the Enchanting Temptress. However, I did not post it because it does not look particularly nice on my character (you will get to see why in the images below 😦 ). But since a viewer wanted the mod, I figure I will just share it because it may look good on slim character.

In simple explanation, the four outfits (for Yun), which should be tight fitting, seem a size larger than my character's body. Thus, when the cloth region is recolored to skin layer, it gives an equally odd feel.

Let us take a look at the original outfit below and see if you agree.

Front View - Original Outfit
Somehow, I find that the thighs look thicker than what I have customized.

Front Close-up View - Original Outfit
The lower torso region also looks a bit off.

Rear View - Original Outfit

Left Side View - Original Outfit

Left Side Close-up View - Original Outfit
That thigh-to-arm thickness ratio seems exaggerated. Did I really made this or is it an optical illusion? 😰

Right Side Close-up View - Original Outfit
Due to the perceived larger body size, I had to retain the cloth at certain region to soothe the separation between the skin layer and cloth. These regions include the tummy region and the area below the arm pit.

So, without further delay, let's see what the mod looks like below.

Front View - Modified Outfit
Do you see the contrast in size between the torso and hip-leg after the areas are recolored to skin? 😰

Front Close-up View - Modified Outfit
The tummy region is retained but I recolored it to leopard spots. I only did so for the Enchanting Temptress though. The other three outfits still have the original texture.

Rear View - Modified Outfit

Rear Close-up View - Modified Outfit
The rear view still looks ok I guess. 😥

Side View - Modified Outfit

Side Close-up View - Modified Outfit
But something feels off near the chest in the side view.

Overall, I am not quite satisfied with how the mod looks on my character. Hope it will look better on others though. 😥

Check out the video for the Enchanting Temptress for all three races (Gon, Jin and Yun). Since I do not have the outfits, I used the in-game Tailor Shop to show case the mods. Enjoy!

Blade & Soul - Inferno (Yun Outfit) Mod

After I posted the mod for Jin Inferno Clan outfit about a month ago, a viewer on YouTube requested for the Yun version. When compared to the original Jin Inferno, the Yun's version reveals more skin, with the left side of the tummy and back area, and left thigh uncovered. But it is definitely nothing close to the Gon's version where the torso area is just a bikini top.

Unfortunately, at my current mod skill level, I can't do anything to turn the torso region into bikini top because the mesh structure does not includes the cleavage curvature. As such for the Jin version mod, I mainly repainted some of the possible area to skin color, revealing a little on the outer side of the breasts. This is probably the most that I can do for the Yun version too.

Since I do not have the Yun inferno outfit (because my character is not in a clan with the outfit), I will be using the in-game Tailor Shop to show the original and modified outfit again. First of all, let us take a look at the original outfit below.

Front View - Original Outfit
The Yun Inferno looks very similar to the Jin version, except for the opening on the left side of the torso and the left thigh, which reveals the skin layer.

Front Close-up View - Original Outfit

Rear View - Original Outfit

Rear Close-up View - Original Outfit
The opening on the torso extended to the left side of the lower back as seen in the image above.

Right Side View - Original Outfit

Right Side Close-up View - Original Outfit
The right side images look similar to that of the Jin outfit.

Left Side Close-up View - Original Outfit
As seen in the last image above, the left side is rather 'naked', other than the top portion and the long sleeve.

If I had directly applied the Jin mod design to the Yun version, the left side view would have been not 'rather' but 'fully' naked. 😟 As such, I decided to apply the Jin mod, with a slight variation, on only the right side.

Since the original outfit has its opening on the lower left part of the body, I decided to place the right side opening on the top part of the body, to 'balance' things out. 😅

So, let's immediately take a look at the modified outfit below.

Front View - Modified Outfit

Front Close-up View - Modified Outfit
From the front views, we can catch a glimpse of skin color on the left shoulder and left torso.

Rear View - Modified Outfit

Rear Close-up View - Modified Outfit
The right half at the back is almost all skin now.

Right Side View - Modified Outfit

Right Side Close-up View - Modified Outfit
The right side view looks similar to the Jin mod, except for a strap of cloth that splits the top and lower halves.

Left Side View - Modified Outfit
No change is done on the left half of the outfit.

That is about all for this mod. Watch the video for a better view.

Blade & Soul - Strange Allure (Gon Outfit) Mod

Some time back, a viewer suggested the Strange Allure outfit for mod. Since he/she did not specify which race it should be done on, I decided to mod the Gon version, base on the rotation. It probably does not matter since the outfit looks exactly the same for all three races.

Contrary to the martial arts theme of Blade & Soul, the Strange Allure outfit has a very modern look which does not offer the slightest link to martial arts, combat or ancient world. In fact, it looks more like a normal street wear in our modern world. Is this why it has the word 'strange' in its name?  😅  There are also several other outfits that falls under this same category, such as the school uniforms, swim suits and sailor outfits. I guess they are included to appeal to players who prefer both ancient martial arts world and trendy costumes, like a modern time traveler who visits the ancient world. 😆

Due to its modern look, the Strange Allure cannot easily align with the base story line and thus it can only be bought from the online Hongmoon Store instead of being a quest reward item. The outfit also has a matching sports visor to go with it.

The design of the Strange Allure is a short pinky blouse with long sleeves and a pair of dark grey stockings. The more prominent part is the opening, on the chest, that reveals the top part of the cleavage. Hmm... this opening on the chest kind of reminds me of the DC super hero, Power Girl, although her costume is mostly white. But did the design concept come from her? 😆

Front View - Original Outfit
The blouse looks slightly silky and has several strings hanging around the torso, like headphone cords.

Front Close-up View - Original Outfit
We can also see some wordings tattooed on the outer side of the right thigh.

Rear View - Original Outfit

Rear Close-up View - Original Outfit
A piece of brown colored cloth lays under the pink blouse at the butt area, maybe to cover the pink-white stripes panties, which would otherwise be visible. Hey! I did not peek... It can be seen in the image below even when the character is standing still. 😇

Right Side View - Original Outfit
See? The Gon idle animation slightly tilts the hips, revealing the panties. 😅

Right Side Close-up View - Original Outfit
We can see the tattoo clearer in this image above.

Left Side Close-up View - Original Outfit
By now, some viewers might have catches on to something about the images above. That they seem to be in-game screen captures but not exactly it.

Well... That's because I do not have the Strange Allure outfit and thus, I chose to capture the images using yet another innovative feature of the game. Instead of using the simple Wardrobe (a.k.a. Showroom) like I used to, I had used the Tailor Shop function within the Wardrobe.

The Tailor Shop, as the name implies, enable players to tailor their outfits by changing patterns, colors and texture. However, not all outfits can be tailored and Strange Allure is one of them. Fortunately, the Tailor Shop still allows the character to be fitted with the outfit, even though it cannot be tailored. 😃

Even better, than the Showroom, is that the Tailor Shop also captures the background scenery and allows your character to do 3 poses while you happily tailor the outfit. So here we have the nice scenery which is not exactly real time. I guess that is why there is something off in the images.

For the mod, I had wanted to repaint some parts of the torso (including a little underboob) to skin. Unfortunately, there is some restrictions to the torso which made it impossible to recolor the area to skin texture. To overcome this, I created a layer of netting over the supposed area. As usual, I also repainted the stockings to skin color.

Front View - Original Outfit
Notice that the front-side torso area is slightly darker and duller when compared to the skin at the thighs.

Front Close-up View - Modified Outfit
Hmm... The layer of netting is still not very obvious in the close-up image, which was captured with the maximum zoom in the Tailor Shop.  😥
.
Rear View - Modified Outfit
No. I did not remove that brown cloth covering the panties. 😆

Rear Close-up View - Modified Outfit
So, does the Strange Allure looks even stranger now? 😆

Left Side View - Modified Outfit

Left Side Close-up View - Modified Outfit
The layer of netting is still not clear enough in the side image. I guess you will need to see the video in full size to be able to see the netting. 😥

Since I do not have the outfit, I can only create a short video showing the various poses and animations in the Tailor Shop. Hope that will provide a good enough overall view of the modified outfit.

Blade & Soul - Deva Raiment (Jin Outfit) Mod

Finally, we get to the last Deva Raiment mod for the Jin race. Although the Jin version is the last to be shown in this blog, it is in fact one of my earliest mod on Blade & Soul outfits. But at that time, I was only familiar with removing stuffs from the outfit, so I only removed the cloths at the back and the bulky elbow guard on the left arm.

Eventually, I learned to recolor skin and did the mod for the Yun Deva Raiment, in which I also recolored the left arm to skin. This was followed by the Gon Deva Raiment mod, in which I repainted some parts of the right torso to skin but not to perfection. I guess I forgot about the Jin version or maybe I am just lazy to go back to look into an old mod. 😆

Anyway, about a month ago, a viewer brought up the Jin Deva Raiment mod request, to make it look like the Yun mod (probably don't like the Gon mod 😢 ). So, I got off my lazy bum to dig out the old mod and repainted the arm to skin, on top of the removed items.

Well, let's look at the original and modified outfit in the images below. The left side of the images shows the original outfit while the right side shows the modified one.

Front View

Front Close-up View
Even the character noticed something different about the left arm and checking it out. 😲

Actually, it is just one of the Jin's idle animation. 😝

Rear View

Rear Close-up View
In the two images above, we can clearly see that the cloth at the butt has been removed. 😍

Left Close-up View
Wow! That bulky elbow guard is so prominent that it shows up in all the front, rear and side views. Glad that it is out of the way now. 😆

The left arm is now skin instead of charcoal black. That black arm (less the elbow guard) reminds me of some anime characters who posses a demonic arm, such as Allen Walker from the D.Gray-man. Did the designer get the idea from there? 😄

Well, that wraps up this mod. Don't forget to check the video for a better view.
