Blade & Soul - Talus Dominion (Gon Outfit) Mod

The last time that I worked on a Talus Dominion outfit, it was like in September 2017 for Jin. After one year plus, a patron asked if I can do one for the Gon. I should be happy that there are still patron reading contents that I made almost two years ago. And it seems the Jin Talus Dominion has a record of 1,300 plus views, below Jin Enchanting Seductress at 1,700 plus. But of course, both posts' view counts lost to the mod download page which is closing on 9,000 views. 😆😅

Normally, I would have done the Talus Dominion for the Gon version too. However, I did not do the Gon mod because I basically do not have a Gon character at that time. Although I created a Gon character and began Gon mods eventually after several inquiries by patrons, I forgot about the outfit until the recent request. Now, looking back at the post, I just realized how many views it garnered. 😲

But the high view counts could also be due to some other reasons because no other post come close to 1,000, except for Jin Ashes In The Fall at 800 plus.

Anyway, that is enough on comparing the view counts and let us get back to the outfit. The details for the outfit and how it can be obtained can be found in the Yun post so I will not repeat it here.

Comparing the Talus Dominion for all three races, we can say they look very similar but each has their own design. Such as how the Yun's leather robe covers half of the right breast, while the Jin's and Gon's versions have the right breast fully outside of the leather robe. Check the image below for a better comparison.

Gon                                   Jin                                    Yun
Let us take a closer look at the original Gon outfit below.

Front View - Original Outfit
All three races wear the same silky tight-fitting bodysuit as the base.

Front Close-up View - Original Outfit
The base tight-fitting bodysuit is then added with a black leather robe, complete with a glove and shoulder guard that are worn on one side of the body, opposite to each other.

Rear View - Original Outfit
A unique feature is the scarf-like cloth that wraps around the neck and drape down the back.

Left Side View - Original Outfit
The entire left arm is covered in another tight layer different from the bodysuit and a shoulder guard can be seen on the left shoulder.

Right Side View - Original Outfit
On the right side, we can see the shoulder guard is missing but a glove appears on the right hand.

Right Side Close-up View - Original Outfit
And of course, the right breast hanging freely away from the protective layer of the leather robe. 😆

To be fair to all three races, I did the same mod on the Gon's version as with the Jin and Yun. But since the Gon's version is closer in similarity to the Jin's, I gave the mod a bandage wrapping as well. The Yun's mod did not need the bandage since the important point is hidden by the leather robe. 😅

Let's take a look at the mod below.

Front View - Modified Outfit
The tight-fitting bodysuit has now been replaced by skin layer as seen in the image above.

Rear View - Modified Outfit
Though it is not obvious, I cut away a small part at the mid of the tail cloth.

Left Side View - Modified Outfit

Right Side View - Modified Outfit
The would-be exposed right breast is now wrapped under bandages as I did for the Jin mod. 😅

Right Side Close-up View - Modified Outfit
With the tight-fitting bodysuit removed, I have to cover up the crotch region somehow. So, I chose to do the same as in the other two mods - bandage them as well. 😅

Finally, I can wrap up the talus Dominion. Watch the video below for a better look at the mod. I have captured the video in Blood Shade Harbor dungeon, bullying the low level monsters, like the overpower Ainz Ooal Gown in Overlord. 😀 😎

You can also catch a glimpse of the tail-less Seductress and Temptress outfit, worn by the twins, in the video. 😄

Blade & Soul - Fair Weather (Yun Outfit) Mod

Although this is supposed to be a week for a Jin mod, I will be skipping over it because I do not have a particular Jin outfit in mind yet. Instead, we will proceed with a Yun mod that has been requested after I posted the Gon Fair Weather mod.

As updated in the Gon Fair Weather post, a patron pointed out that the outfit name actually means a type of friend - fair weather friend, who only surrounds you when time is good and went missing when the tide turns. This became quite clear to me after the patron points out that the first of the three sisters outfits that came out is the Best Friend. 😅

With that said, I still can't shake the feeling that the outfit looks very much like an arena fighter's garment. 😆  How about you?

Although the Gon and Yun Fair Weathers look largely similar, there are still some differences between them. Compare them in the image below and see if you can catch the differences.

Gon                                                    Yun
The differences between them are the leggings that the Gon wear and the chest portion. Looking from the side of the chest portion, the Gon can be seen sporting a bra like cloth, while the Yun has the entire portion covered in a translucent layer. And because of that translucent layer, the Yun outfit can finally one up the Gon mod, in terms of sexiness level. 😎

Before we get into the mod, let's take a quick look at the original Yun Fair Weather below.

Front View - Original Outfit
As seen above, the Yun's version does not have a pair of leg guards like the Gon's.

Front Close-up View - Original Outfit
We can see the dark translucent layer covering the shoulder, the upper back and the side of the breasts.

Rear View - Original Outfit
The rear view is exactly the same.

Rear Close-up View - Original Outfit

Side View - Original Outfit
The translucent layer can be seen more clearly from the side.

Side Close-up View - Original Outfit
What I did for the Yun mod is similar to the Gon's, except for the translucent layer on the chest.

Firstly, I have trimmed the skirt, the collar, then followed by the coat and the two pieces of cloth that runs down from the sleeves.

For the chest portion, I can simply repaint it to skin color because the translucent layer is not floating above the skin layer, unlike in the case of the Gon's.

Front View - Modified Outfit

Front Close-up View 1 - Modified Outfit
As seen in the two images above, the skirt and coat have been trimmed.

Front Close-up View 2 - Modified Outfit
The chest portion is now in full skin color. 😆

The collar that runs from the neck to the waist has also been trimmed at the side.

Rear View - Modified Outfit
With the coat trimmed, we can now see the legs from the back.

Rear Close-up View - Modified Outfit

Side View - Modified Outfit

Side Close-up View - Modified Outfit
The breasts are now narrowly covered by the collars. This means that the mod can be made to be topless, at the front at least, as the mesh structure for the lower back might be missing.

But I am not going to do that because I feel that sexy looks better than nudity. 😅

With this, I will wrap up the Yun Fair Weather mod.

While searching for a suitable piece of music for my video, I came across "Heart Beat" by Mitte. So I decided to add in the Gon Iron Will mod, to make a friendship video. Although a fair weather friend would not be one who will have a deep friendship, I still use the Fair Weather outfit since its sister is the Best Friend.

Gon Iron Will
Sometimes, when two people grew up very close to each other, they can feel the lingering presence of each other even if they are physically world apart, as depicted in the video.

Blade & Soul - Courtesan (Gon Outfit) Mod

Soon after I made and posted the Jin Courtesan mod, a patron asked if there is one for Gon. Since, it is time for a Gon mod this week, I guess we can proceed with it. As mentioned in the Jin Courtesan post, this outfit is first made for NPC Namsoyoo and she is of the Jin race. From the fact that the Gon UPK files are located far from the Jin one, I can guess that NCSoft had not initially want to make it available for players but eventually decided to do so. After all, beautiful and sexy outfit is a big hit with players and I personally know of some who will try to get hold of almost every outfits. 😅

Maybe that is why we can see NCSoft has started releasing some of those outfits, worn by NPC, which players like me can only drool at before their release. Some of these outfits are Loose Cannon worn by Soha, True Shot worn by her brother - Leerok (almost mistyped as Leeroy over there 😆 ), Inn Keeper worn by Yehara, Withering Flower and Dark Emissary worn by Jinsoyun, and much more. I wonder if Yura's snake skin outfit will ever be released too. 😍

Anyway, the information regarding the Courtesan outfit has already been discussed in the Jin post, so let us go straight to look at the original Gon Courtesan below. Since it is an NPC outfit, it is expected to look exactly the same for all races. Of course, male character will not have this outfit available to them. After all, the Heart Surgeon and Angel crossdressing series for male character is already 😱 enough so let's hope it will not continue to these other outfits. 😩😖

Front View - Original Outfit

Front Close-up View - Original Outfit
As we can verify above, the outfit is exactly the same with similar stocking, laced shoulder-arm, metallic frame, right up to the red rose hanging by the right side of the waist.

Rear View - Original Outfit
The unique half dress can also be seen in the Gon version.

Rear Close-up View - Original Outfit

Right Side View - Original Outfit

Right Side Close-up View - Original Outfit
The dress at the hip seems to have a hump due to the intrinsic shape of Gon's body.

Left Side View - Original Outfit

Left Side Close-up View - Original Outfit
Although the Jin's and Gon's outfits look the same, there is significant difference in the mesh. For example, while the mesh of the butt and underboob are missing for the Jin's model, the Gon's model has them intact. As such, it allows for more freedom in the mod.

The complete inclusion of the butt (in the Gon's model) allows me to drop the top part of the chain stocking, which I had initially retained to compliment the horizontal protrusion of the panties for the Jin mod. With the mesh intact, I can now safely trim down the horizontal protrusion of the Gon's panties to make it less obvious and thus, I don't need to retain the stocking.

On the other hand, I did not make more use of the bra area although the underboob's mesh is intact. The reason being that the mesh for a point, on the breast, is missing. I think you can guess which point is that. Sometimes, this was done to prevent the mesh of the tips of the skin layer from protruding out and showing above the outfit, especially for those body hugging outfits such as swim wears.

This is because in a game, the designer has to minimize the mechanism call 'collision detection' which prevents character from running through walls, for example. If the game tries to do that for all outfits on every characters, it will probably crash or become really sluggish due to enormous amount of detections required.

So this is one of the reason why some of the body parts that are hidden below outfits are removed; the other being to reduce game's file size in order to save disk space.

Looks like I have gone off topic again, so let's focus back on the mod. Check it out below.

Front View - Modified Outfit

Front Close-up View - Modified Outfit
The stockings and laced layer on the shoulder has been removed as seen in the image above.

The half dress has also been trimmed, like in the Jin's mod.

Rear View - Modified Outfit

Rear Close-up View - Modified Outfit
The retained laced layer for the collar and black frame added at the corners of the modified dress is the same as that of the Jin's mod.

Right Side View - Modified Outfit

Right Side Close-up View - Modified Outfit

Left Side View - Modified Outfit
As we can see in the image above and below, no part of the stockings was retained, unlike the Jin's mod.

Left Side Close-up View - Modified Outfit
Unfortunately, the translucent cloth obscure the left side of the panties so we cannot see the protrusion that I have mentioned earlier. Luckily you may be able to verify that in the video below.

Sadly, I do not have this outfit on my Gon so I can only show the mod using the in-game Tailor Shop. 😥

Blade & Soul - Commitment (Yun Outfit) Mod

Back for a Yun mod this week, we shall work on one of the new outfits - Commitment. To say that Commitment is new, is both true and false. True because its the first time we see this name, and false because we have already seen before its sister outfit - Allegiance, which has exactly the same model. The difference is just a change of color and body tattoo. You can take a look and compare the two sisters below.

Commitment                                          Allegiance
As seen above, Allegiance has a white shirt over a black trumpet trouser while Commitment has a black shirt over a white trouser. The other significant difference is the tattoo on the body.

While Commitment does not seem to have any indication of where the name comes from, we can perform some basic deduction for Allegiance. As you have seen above, Allegiance spot a bad ass dragon tattoo on the back of the body. Historically, such tattoos hold great significant for gang members from secret societies, specifically of oriental descent, such as Japan's Yakuza. From that historic background, I guess you can see where the word allegiance comes in. Since these secret societies dictates loyalty among their members by making them swear allegiance.

From Allegiance, we can relate to the Commitment outfit, in a sense that commitment can have a lesser meaning of allegiance, and in a much lesser degree.

Without further delay, let's take a more detail look at the original Commitment below.

Front View - Original Outfit
The main part of the outfit is a black colored shirt over a pair of white colored  trumpet trousers, with a thick belt between them.

Front Close-up View - Original Outfit
The shirt is decorated with blossom branches similar to the tattoo on the body. Two blossom branches can be seen extending from the shoulders towards the breasts.

Rear View - Original Outfit
The open back design allows us to see the blossom tattoo that extends from the neck to the waist.

Rear Close-up View - Original Outfit
A demon face can be seen hanging on the belt, at the back.

Side View - Original Outfit

Side Close-up View - Original Outfit
One blossom branch also extends from the shoulder to the upper arm on each sides.

From the loose shirt, which looks like it consists of only two pieces of cloth on each side of the torso, we can expect the entire body mesh to be available. And we know what that means... This outfit can be mod to become topless. 😈

However, I will not be doing that since someone else will probably have already done it. Instead, I modified the two pieces of cloth that made up the shirt into a lace layer. This gives a semi-topless effect to the shirt but not entirely naked. 😅

Front view - Modified Outfit

Front Close-up view - Modified Outfit
We can now see many 'holes' on the shirt.

Rear view - Modified Outfit
I left the tattoos intact because they look nice.

Rear Close-up view - Modified Outfit
I also clean up some shadows on the skin layer so that we will not see darker skin through the tiny holes.

Side view - Modified Outfit

Side Close-up view - Modified Outfit
The close-up views may not be clear enough for us to see the effect so I have also attached two more images with super zoom.

Close-up view 1 - Modified Outfit
Clear enough? If not, see below.

Close-up view 2 - Modified Outfit
I have taken special care to conceal the important points so please don't expect to see any accidental slip. 😅

So what do you think of this semi-topless design?

You can see more close-ups in the video but since this is a game outfit, don't expect any accidental exposure due to rigorous movements. 😅
