AION - Vasharti Brigade General's Plate Chest

Today, I'll be showing you guys what I have done for the Vasharti Brigade General's Plate Chest. The plate chest drops off bosses in ORB similar to the Leather one. i.e. Eternal from bosses and Mythical one from the armor chest off final boss.

 

There's no bug on this skin but I just kind of frown at the whole black texture on the front torso. Not really sure if it is the actual intended design, or just that the designer had ran out of time and decided to make a quick work of it, by painting everything black. >.<

 

Anyway, let's take a look at the original skin in the image below. Notice the charcoal black front torso and inner thighs.

In case, you can't see them clearly, here's a close-up. And, in case you're mistaken. No, she's not showing the middle finger. >.<"   I just made her point at something, so she will stop moving around...hahaha...naughty girl.

With the intention to modify the front torso, I think it make sense to modify the inner thighs too, which is also fully painted black. Unfortunately, the black texture on the inner thighs extended to her butt, and I doubt I want her butt-naked. Take a look at this and you'll probably know what I mean. Oh! And by the way, after looking long and hard, I'm pretty convince that's not what you guys think it is. :p

No... she's not baring her top or bottom. Look closer.

Ah! It looks better now with the black texture replaced by skin texture. And, what is a plated armor without any plate, right? So, I placed a metal armor to protect her most important asset... No, not her boobs, I meant her heart. :p

And, for the problematic area from her butt to inner thighs, pardon me for being lazy, I simply gave her a yes...G-string...again. >.<

AION - Dragonbound Chain Chest (or simply Hauberk)

The next armor skin that I have taken an interest in, is the Dragonbound Chain Chest (Hauberk). This armor randomly drops off mobs (the Reins people who are bounded by the Balaur, hence the name "Dragonbound"), near UDAS in Inggison and it's now also available for purchase in the Blackcloud Market Place (BCM) as a costume skin.

 

This chest armor similarly to the Vasharti Brigade General's chest armor, is a 2-in-1 (chest and pants) chest skin. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the armor skin, except that it seem to make the right thigh/hip rather protruding in an idle pose, especially for those who have customized their characters with thick thighs. Unfortunately, that's the Meshes and there's nothing that I can do about it.

 

However, I did find the rag covering the left leg rather disturbing (for my eyes ;p) and decided that I should remove it together with the straps running down along the thighs. The straps are supposed to hold the knee guards but who really cares about logic and physics in a game skin! So, here's what the original armor looks like.

So, after my mod, the rag disturbing my eyes are gone! And the straps along with it. :) Take a look at the before-after images below.

Probably by now, you would have understand what I meant by "disturbing my eyes"? Oh! By the way, did I mention anything about the bra area? Let's take a closer look. ;p

 Yes.... I have done it yet again... I confess to the fishnet bra, which lets you kind of see through it, for those sharp enough to notice. AION - Vasharti Brigade General's Leather Chest Armor Skin

Since this is the skin that got me started, it is simply logical to be the 1st item to be featured in this Blog. This armor drops off boss mobs, as an Eternal level item, or the Mytical/Eternal armor box (off final boss) in ORB (Occupied Rentus Base). As Aion players will know, this is one of the armor sets that have the chest skin containing the leg skin as well.

 

Although, the torso area is the main target, I just can't resist being naughty and made some changes to the pants as well, since they are in the same texture. And so, here it is.

 

 

Ok. Ok... I must confess I'm being more than naughty. I gave her a G-string and lower leg guards! Well...can't really blame me coz this is one of the skins with the nicest butt. ;p

 

And, just to prove that this is more than just some photoshop, I have attached the in-game video capture from Aion as well. Enjoy!

Introduction

As the name suggests, this Blog is dedicated for all the Aion skin mods that I have created. 

 

Why Aion? Well, that's because I'm currently a frequent player of the game, of course!

 

As for why the skin mods and why I started doing modifications? The reason has to do with the introduction of Occupied Rentus Base (or simply ORB, as in-game players call it) in Aion 4.0. Well, you see, I am playing a leather class and when I finally got my hand on the Vasharti General's leather chest armor, I'm bewildered by the fact that the front torso area was wrongly painted black.

 

Can you imagine a black torso on my fair skin maiden? Check out this image.  >:(

 

 

I sent a ticket to the Game Master and they acknowledged it as an error and had put it into the list of items to amend. And so, I waited...days, then weeks... and now months. But I guess the busy Development team probably have it as the last item on amendment list.. Q_Q

 

Finally, I gave up looking forward to every game updates. And that's when I saw videos of Aion skin mods and figure why not D.I.Y since they are so busy. And since then, I just can't stop modifying all those beautiful armor skins.
