This week, we will have a look at another Yun outfit - Stinger. The Stinger is an outfit that can be acquired by player through sheer luck, by spinning a Wheel of Fate, like in the case of the Deva Raiment. In fact the Wheel of Fate for the Stinger is in really close proximity to the Deva Wheel of Fate, with just two minute run in game. While the Deva Wheel of Fate uses the Golden Deva essence as a token for spinning the wheel, the Stinger Wheel of Fate uses Pinchy's essence.
If you are wondering what a Pinchy is, you can make a guess from the name of the outfit and essence... So, you got it yet? No? Well, here's a hint: What horrid creature has pincers and sting people. 😱
Okay, here's the answer. Pinchy is a scorpion but not those tiny ones that we know. Pinchy is a giant scorpion which lurks underground, in a pit, near to Yehara's Mirage in the Cinderlands. What anyone would see is a just cloud of dust swiftly sweeping across the desert sand, but when someone naively wonders near to it, Pinchy would spring up and mercilessly make a quick meal out of them. 😱
Pinchy lurking underground
Pinchy
However, most players will agree with me that what they find horrible is actually the chance of getting the outfit and adornments, more than the frightening size and look of Pinchy. 😣
If you had read my post in the Deva Raiment, you will probably have an idea of how difficult it is to get outfits and adornments from the wheels. But in Pinchy's case, this is made worse by the fact that Pinchy has the tendency to hide away underground after taking certain amount of damage.
When underground, players cannot attack Pinchy while it slowly recovers its health. On top of that, the only way to force Pinchy out onto the surface is by throwing a bomb obtained from a chest nearby, which is surrounded by smaller scorpions. 😱 And what's worse is that Pinchy can resist the bomb and remain underground until another bomb is successfully thrown. This lengthened the time to get Pinchy's essence and thus, increasing the difficulty in getting the outfit. No wonder some players rank Pinchy as one of the most annoying field bosses. 😦
Well, that's all for the introduction but the reason why I wanted to mod this outfit is because I am salty about how the Stinger outfit looks on the Gon race compared to Yun. A picture is worth a thousand words so let's take a look below.
Stinger on Yun Stinger on Gon
Wow! Why did the Gon outfit get a sexy butt view with a G-String but Yun has to put up with a latex butt! 😧
And so, the quest to even the score begins! 😃
Let's first take a closer look at the original outfit below.
Front View - Original Outfit
The Stinger outfit is a full body, tight-fitting suit with several protection covers on the back, sides and thighs. But they don't seem so eager to protect the heart region though. 😅

Rear View - Original Outfit
The tail that wriggles at the back is actually the outfit's adornment.

In order to level out with the Gon outfit, I started by doing away with the latex to reveal the skin, not only on the butt region but the entire leg. However, as there is nothing beneath the latex, removing it will inevitably reveal the entire butt. As such, I painted a G-String so she doesn't have to run around butt-naked. 😅
Next, the latex on the arm is transformed into an armband. I could not totally remove it as there will be discontinuity and 'floating' skin issue.
Then, I upped the ante by removing the latex on the bra region as well. No point just looking the same as another outfit, right? 😉 Unfortunately, some discontinuities showed up after the latex region on the bra is recolored to skin and I have to add a little something to hide those discontinuities. 😣
So, let's take a look at the modified outfit below.

From the two images above, you can see that the latex on the arms, legs and bra is gone!

Finally, a nice butt view comparable to the Gon outfit. 😃

Side Close-up View - Modified Outfit
I had wanted to remove the leg guards at the thighs because they made the thighs look so much thicker. But removing them would reveal holes beneath, so I had to leave them alone.
I wore the tail adornment in the images and video because it compliments the outfit by randomly revealing the G-String as it wriggles about.
Does this modified Yun outfit looks better than the Gon one? Check out the video for an all-round view. 😃
In this week's post, let us work on the Jin version of the Talus Dominion outfit. Previously, I had done a mod on the equivalent Yun outfit, and if you need to refresh your memory, here's the link. In that post, I had provided some information on the origin of the outfit but failed to mention where it can be found. Well, the outfit is dropped by corrupted Talus Dominion soldiers, who are working for the Dark Emissary Jinsoyun, in the Moonwater plains.
Since most of the details have been provided in the Yun Talus Dominion post, we can get started on the Jin outfit itself right away.
This is the first time I am showing the same outfit for different race (i.e. Yun & Jin), so just to recall, the same outfit can be worn by any race/gender (unless there is a specific restriction). And the outfit may look exactly the same on all races (excluding Lyn since their body shape is very much different from the others) or with some alterations. The Talus Dominion outfit for example, has some alterations between the races.
Just for comparison sake, let us look at the image below.
Jin Outfit Yun Outfit
On the first look, the two outfits look quite similar with a robe over a tight fitting suit. But upon closer inspection, you will notice that the Yun outfit has a longer robe running down the right side and back, past knee level. While the Jin outfit is designed with a robe that covers only to the thigh level. Another prominent part of the Jin outfit (for guys at least 😅), is how it leaves the right breast out for display. 😣 Well... it is covered by a tight fitting suit but it still kind of looks awkward... 😆
Eagle-eyed viewer will probably also notice the difference in body shape but that's the general difference between the two races by design. The Yun race is designed to be tall and slim while Jin race is generally shorter in height but more fleshy. Maybe that's the reason why the outfit designer can't keep the right breast under the robe. 😛 But the biggest and muscular of all would be the Gon race (imagine a body builder 😲 ), which I have yet to shown.
With that said, let's take a closer look at the original Jin Talus Dominion outfit below.

From the two images above, we can clearly see the robe over the tight fitting suit, as in the case of Yun outfit.

The two images below will show you why I said it leaves the right breast out for display...
Right Side View - Original Outfit
Right Side Close-up View - Original Outfit
For the mod, I made it very similar to the Yun version. That is the recoloring of the tight fitting suit to skin layer, and removing a little bit of cloth at the back so she will reveal a little bit of sexiness with some movements. That tiny slit is normally concealed by the cloth running down from her neck to butt, like the Yun outfit.
But then, repainting all tight fitting area into skin color will inevitably put the right breast on display, and this time, for real.... 😰
Just when I was wondering what I can do to cover up the exposed breast, the Boss Mode came to mind. Just in case, if you are wondering what is the Boss Mode, check below.
Boss Mode Outfit (in-game load screen)
The Boss Mode is a highly sought after limited-time sale outfit because it looks so badass. In the Boss Mode, the pair of breasts is wrapped in bandages, kind of like Katana in the "Suicide Squad" movie or the Assassin Outfit that I did in AION. Instead of wearing the jacket, the Boss Mode has it hanging from the shoulder, as an adornment. Just like a boss... 😎 Hmmm...which reminds me... The Boss Mode does share the same concept with my Assassin Outfit. 😃
Oh... So, I borrowed the idea from the Boss Mode and applied bandages on the right breast of the Jin Talus Dominion outfit. And the result can be seen below.

So what do you think of the bandages? I know some may prefer it to be gone... 😆

Did you manage to steal a peek between the tiny slit? 😛

Wow! The right side looks really clean and she seems to have gone commando... No worries though, I did gave her a strapless white panties to match the bandages. 😃
You can see more details of the outfit in the beach dancing video below.

For the third Blade & Soul skin mod, I'll be touching on one of the earliest outfits which I have modified. This outfit is also shown in one of my initial videos involving "The Shattered Mast" dungeon. But due to the short length and quick movement in the video, viewers probably can't get a detail look at it. So, I made a separate video and also takes the opportunity to describe the modifications that I have done on the outfit. This outfit is a sister to four other outfits (Seductress, Temptress, Enchanting Temptress and Pure White Seductress) which are also worn by the two NPCs - Scarlet and Cobalt Widows. The version worn by the widows can be seen more clearly in my other video here. However, I prefer the Enchanting Seductress mainly because of the stripes on it. 😆
The first four outfits can be bought, from NPCs in Moonwater plains, using tickets that dropped off the twins in "Night Shade Harbor" open world dungeon and "Blood Shade Harbor" party dungeon. The Pure White Seductress, however, is a special event outfit. You can check the image below for the five outfits. They are mostly identical with a difference in cover nettings, texture and accessories such as shoulder cap and leg straps.
From the first on the left, we have the Enchanting Seductress followed by Seductress, Temptress, Enchanting Temptress and finally the Pure White Seductress.
Seductress and Temptress Outfits
If you examine them closely, you can see that Seductress series have leg straps on the left thigh, while the Temptress series have shoulder guard on the right arm. Similarly, the Enchanting series comes with stripes and spots, while the primary series comes in full black. The Pure White Seductress, though, is the Seductress in pure white (as the name implies) and have the nettings on the cleavage and sides removed.
Let's take a closer look at the original Enchanting Seductress below.

Do you agree that the stripes make the outfit that much wilder? 😄
But what's that netting doing over the cleavage area? 😑

Tail! My new favorite! 😍

More nettings on the side of torso and legs... 😑
So, are you seduced by this outfit yet? If not, check out the modified outfit below.
Front View - Modified Outfit
Well... As you can see, most of the materials have disappeared and are replaced by skin layer. 😅

That netting over the cleavage area is also gone. 😍

Those tan lines on the thighs are actually artefacts due to me doing color matching, but they look surprisingly pretty and so I left them. 😝
Side View - Modified Outfit
Side Close-up View - Modified Outfit
The final modified outfit looks more like a sexy swim wear but is it seductive enough for you? 😆
Eagle-eyed viewers may notice the color difference between the shoulder-arm area and the rest of her body. Well... you are right, that's something which I overlooked and left untouched. Although I did made right those on the widows' outfit. 😥
[Updated] Finally take the time to fix the color difference and placed the download link below. 😅
Finally, you can check the video below for more details.
In this week's post, let us look at another Yun outfit, the Deva Raiment. This outfit comes with an adornment and a hat, which are rewards for spinning a Wheel of Fate at the Crescent Spring in the Cinderlands. The token (a.k.a. essence) needed to spin such a wheel is normally gathered by defeating a particular monster; in this case, the Golden Deva. The Golden Deva is a mighty mechanical statue built by the Naryu to protect the Forgotten Tomb and stands in front of the tomb's entrance with two accompanying Iron Fangs which look like mechanical lion. The Golden Deva is only brought to life by using the two energy cores dropped by the two Iron Fangs, after defeating them. When the two cores are placed in the two lanterns at the sides, the mighty statue will come to life and attack anyone foolish enough to wander near the tomb.
The reward from the Wheel of Fate is random among a variety of items such as Deva Soul Shield (3 different sets), Deva accessories (i.e. ring, earring), Deva weapon box, Deva outfits and a quest item. With outfits being the rarest of all, it can take varying amount of time to actually get the outfit piece that you desire. For me, it took a few days of farming to finally get the full set. 😣
Take a look at the Golden Deva and the full outfit set below.
The Golden Deva and Iron Fangs
Full Golden Deva Set with Adornment and Helmet
The torso part of the Yun Deva Raiment outfit looks primarily like a black bathing suit with golden decorations, except that the entire left arm is also covered in black. The outfit also sports a pair of black leg guards, a bulky belt and a really bulky gold armband on the left hand.
Let's take a clearer look at the original outfit minus the adornment and helmet below.
Front View - Original Outfit
Front Close-up View - Original Outfit
Does the golden armband on the left arm looks really bulky?
Rear View - Original Outfit
Rear Close-up View - Original Outfit
Why is there a piece of cloth covering the back anyway? 😞
Side Close-up View - Original Outfit
The outfit looks quite nice by itself but the bulky armband, black left arm and especially the cloth at back makes the outfit less appealing.
So for the mod, I mainly targeted the three areas by recoloring the left arm to skin color, and removing the armband and cloth.

Does the outfit looks more like a bathing suit now that the black arm and bulky armband is gone? 😊

Wow! Such nice view with the cloth gone! 😍

So, that's all for this mod. Check the video for some gameplay and cinematics, with the mod outfit, in which a Hongmoon senior recalls his past.
