Blade & Soul - Decked Out (Yun Outfit) Mod

In the wink of an eye, year 2018 has passed and we have stepped into the new year of 2019. Hope everyone is now recharged and ready to march into the new year, after all the end-of-year celebrations. 😃 

The request for Deck Out mod was actually made some time around Christmas. But by that time, I already had something in mind (which are the Jin Spellbinder and Ghost In The Shell) that you have seen last week. Normally, new requests are added at the end of my request list but since this outfit has the Christmas vibe, I figured that I should get it done as soon as possible. Thus, I decided to bring forward and carry out the mod on Deck Out this week. Hey, it is better late than never. 😅

This outfit is currently still on sale on the online Hongmoon store but I did not buy it since I am out of budget. 😦 So, I will only be showing this outfit mod through the in-game Tailorshop.

Getting back to the outfit, we can easily see the Christmas vibe through the red color themed dress coupled with white fur and green ribbons. A Christmas themed hoodie can also be seen at the back.

Under the knitted red dress, is a black-laced inner garment or short dress.

Look at the original outfit below and you will agree it is definitely meant for Christmas.

The white fur can be found on the upper chest and wrists area.

The only portion of the inner garment that can be seen is around the bra area, abdomen area and butt.

There is no specific request for the mod so I do what I always do. 😅 That is to shorten the dress (both outer and inner layer). I also found out that the mesh structure for upper torso area is entirely intact and I think it is a waste not to use it. As such, I tried a few ways to remove excess materials.

For the first try, I removed the black bra area totally, hoping the white fur will sufficiently cover the important areas, but the distance between the fur and skin layer is way too much, such that the top half of the breasts are totally exposed. 😈

On the second, I trimmed the bra and 'cut' a 'U' shape right under the chest level. But then it fully reveals the underboobs and that looks weird. 😰

Finally, instead of cutting away the 'U' shape, I turn it into a black lace layer to pretend that it is the continuation of the bra down to the under garment.

We can see that the top of the bra has been trimmed.

Eagle-eyed viewer may have also noticed that all the decorations and lace on the shoulder are gone.

I wanted to preserve the Christmas vibe so I kept the rest of the decorations, ribbons and fur.

The cutaway 'U' shape can also be seen from the side but covered by the black lace layer.

So, do you think the black laced layer is convincing enough to act as part of the inner garment? Or I should not have cut away the 'U' shape area at all?  😅

Well, that is all for the Decked Out mod. In addition, I also included the Spellbinder since it is a direct duplicate of the Jin mod. You can see the before-and-after mod Yun Spellbinder outfit in the image below, which is exactly same as that of Jin's version.
